Located in the heart of the Pfalz in the village of Duttweiler the vineyards sit quietly amongst the deep rich clay (losses) soils and the grainy loaming sandy soils allowing an opportunity to cultivate a number of differing traditional and non traditional variatials.
Paranoia is an excellent starting point for people who have never engaged with German Pinot Noir. Its a wine to experience and Christian would suggest coooling this down as far as 6C and taking your first glass and then to take your second glass closer to room temp. You will see the true expression of this wione take place as the tighness of the aromats and the fruit are released and this wine begins your understanding of what is all about
A provactive Pinot Noir but one that will encourage you to come back and exlpore glass afer glass. Dark cherry aromas, substantail red fruits, lush and powerful driven by some well developed acidity and structure. This is not a one dimensional wine , best described as solid and animated. Drink btween 6 C-12 C.
