Champagne & Sparkling Wine
2 years of the lees
As the name suggests this is White Grape and Black Grape. The Blanc des Noir is our work horse and represents an interesting step away from conventional wine making practices in Champagne. Yann Vadin ( our winemaker prefers to work with only two grape variaties at any oe time so as to produce a Champagne that pays respect to each variatal.
Premier Cru Meneuir aand Premier Cru Pinot Noir
The evident and reduced dosage gives this wine a much greater cleanliness and direction. You can feel the weight & elegance of both Meneuir and the Pinot Noir grapes. Its a bright, refreshing and engaging wine and one that stands out from the larger marquee makers and styles. This is another expression of terroir
Bright citrus notes, lovely harmony with the structure and the acidity as this Champagne delivers a low and lingering taste and mouth weight. I love the brightness and the almost cheeky nature of this Champagne as it wants to engage with you and you to play and enjoy her. 60% Meuneir & 40% Pinot Noir
Clear, direct, enagaging and bright.
Zippy and Bracing, you can smell the terroir
Lovely firm acidity that literally dances around your mouth, crossing over youytongue to leave a lovely weight and warmth. Bright citrus notes, slight chalkiness and a hint of saltiness that draws you back for yet another mouthful.
Peak Drinking / Cellaring Potential
The perfect way to start your meal and the pefect way to end you meal and everything in between, A real hero for Australian seafood and shellfish, the pefect partner for our great South Coast Oysters . It is even cheeky enough to go beautifully with a Christmas triffle or pavalova.
