Switzerland

The Vaud has a passion for Chasselas, as this is the major grape variety grown here. However, Switzerland also offers some stunning examples of fine Pinot Noir, Garamet, Gamay, Garanoir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc grape varieties – some of which you may have never even heard of., As a result of their growing location, elevation and soil, these varieties are great examples of a much softer or "European style" wine – although this does not mean that they lack body and structure. The wines of Switzerland are as diverse as Swiss culture itself, and they represent not only a strong sense of cultural identity but also a  strong connection to their terroir and environment.

In our opinion, Swiss wines are some of the most underrated wines in the world. Although so little is written about them outside of Switzerland and so few are ever rated, Swiss wine makers are prepared to let their wines do the talking. We know that you will love them, and we are excited to be sharing them with you.
