Rhone Wines Star

Its a great time to be a lover of Rhone wines as the 2009 & 2010 vintages have produced the most stunning results if the latest releases that we have seen are any indication, certainly the team at Wine Spectator are raving about these as well. We wanted to give you a few recommendations for your to take a look at ( some of these may not yet be available  here in Australia yet) but as they say a " cat can dream of being a king". In both of these vintages like most great French vintages you will find a great array and fair priced wines that are simply stunning, price does not always reflect quality.

Here are a few of the best that we have found:

If you have the opportunity to go to Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney ( they have the best wine list in the world and Wine Spectator awarded them this for the 3rd year in a row) you should try a 2009 Domaine Yves Cuilleron Saint Jospeh  as it is another stunnign example and the 375ml bottle that is on Rockpool's list is great value for money and a great wine to accompany one of their great scallop or beetroot inspired salads

Zom Wohl one and all, we will keep you updated when we can track these down for you and land therm here for your tasting pleasure.
